By top heavy I meant lower costed stuff. It sounds like we might be talking about the same thing

Most of my creatures were 2 drops, but I did have a couple 4, one 6, and a 7 drop I think

I had an equal number of mountains and forest because I had an equal number of red and green cards (I don't count hybrid and duel because the provide both)

Malleo

I killed people with {Vorel of the Hull Clade} and {Armed // Dangerous} ironically I was playing izzet/simic

The LGS herd by Noah's parents house is small time. 16 of us showed up. I was added in after 3 out of 4 rounds. Somehow got the bye in round three, went 2-0 in round 4. I built a nice WRU deck, wish I'd played the first two rounds, the deck was strong aggro.

Notable pulls include 2 {Blood Baron of Vizkopa},  {Master of Cruelties},  {Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts}, one other mythic I can't remember currently, plus two shock lands  {Breeding Pool} and  {Temple Garden}. :) also got the promo  {Maze's End} and Plains.

You always have such good luck with your packs. I'm jealous.

{ruric thar, the unbound} was boss in limited, but is he usable for constructed?

I think so.

Death Gaara

I am really irritated by mine. I have always had poor luck. This just reinforced my theory on how poor my luck is. I opened my packs and had nothing really good. I went Orzhov and was partnered with Selesnya. All of my Selesnya stuff was populate cards. I even got the enchantment that populates each turn. However, my pool had almost no way to make tokens. So that was a bust. I got a Progenitor Mimic, but could not splash if for lack of cards in those colors. My bombs ended up being Emmara Tandris and Jungle Weaver (that's right, two creatures with no protection). My deck had to focus on Gates. The only deck even remotely viable with my pool was a Gatekeeper deck. I ended up playing 5 Gatekeepers. Sadly, even the Gatekeepers I got were bad. I got 3 of the green (the worst), 1 of the White, and 1 of the Black. So not only was a shoehorned into Gatekeepers, but I also had to play Junk (the deck archtype). It gets even worse. I only had 4 Gates. So not even that was consistent. I ended up going 2-3 with my crappy pool. My play was near perfect. Everybody just had a better pool than me.

Oh yeah. And to further slap me in the face. 3 of the 4 Orzhov guildpacks contained Obzedat. Guess who ended up with the one that did not have him? Sometimes I even wonder why I play magic.

My pulls were really bad. I got 2  {Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts}, a  {Dragonshift}, a  {Possibility Storm},  {Legion Loyalist}, and  a{Trostani, Selesnya's Voice}. I also pulled zero removal and all of two flying creatures ( {Steeple Roc} and  {Urbis Protector}) I still went 2-2 though which was okay I guess.

I would second this...;)
There could be few decks that could benefit from him and he would be real threat for control decks... Of course deck with him would have to be able survive agrro decks...

That's okay. I did not even pull 2 flying creatures. I had one, but almost never saw it. It was not even Kingpin's Pet. Truth be known, I have not had a solid sealed pool at a prerelease since Rise of the Eldrazi (Had a sick UW level up deck with 2 Student of Warfare). My Scars pool was a joke Metalcraft deck, I did not bother with Besiged, my New Phyrexia pool was utter crap, Innistrad I had to rely on a Werewolf deck that just sucked and was missing all of the good components, skipped Dark Ascension, Avacyn Restored my deck's only win con was hardcasting the 1 Griselbrand I got (did not even have the right cards to merit running him), my Return to Ravnica was actually in an article (my bomb was Golgari Longlegs), skipped Gatecrash, and now we arrive at DGM where I had to play near Gateless Gatekeepers. The core sets in between were okay, but nothing special or too playable. I am getting more and more annoyed with Prereleases by the set. Avacyn was cool with the Helvault. But this was just stupid. My guild won the Maze. All we got for it was a stupid Planewalker Points achievement card. Where as the losers who did not get prizes ended up getting a promo Breaking//Entering and a foil Plains (thankfully I received one after my crappy day for not winning a prize). My buddy (also and Orzhov player) who won second was really confused. So he plays well and does not get promo cards, but everyone who did poor got the Breaking//Entering. I just think the entire thing was really poorly put together. It could just have been the LGS, but they told me the rules they obtained from WotC were contradicting and convoluted.

All in all, I miss the days when you went to a prerelease and they just handed you a baller mythic and said go play your rounds without using your promo. These new promos suck and the new games inside of a game (like running the maze) is just needlessly complex. I was tasked with moving the guild stickers for our store. What do I have to show for it? I obtained nothing outside of my Foil Plains, Breaking//Entering, and Champion of the Maze achievement. I spent close to 10 hours of my life for just that. I had no fun yesterday. Prereleases are becoming too convoluted with all of this micromanaging crap that has smaller games (maze, hellvalult) inside of a large game (magic). I just want to come and play magic, not 3-4 other games too.

I am just annoyed that my existence has always been the definition of Murphy's Law. Not that I want to put myself on a pedestal or anything, but I am a damn good Magic player. I won't say I am the best, but I am damn good. And after 10 hours of play, when all I get is a stupid Champion of the Maze achievement, a foil plains, and a foil Breaking//Entering for my effort I get a little annoyed. I just do not understand why the casual players get the awesome sealed pools (like Ral Zarek, Mizzium Mortars, 2 Turn//Burn, 2 Far//Away, Sire of Insanity, etc was one of our biggest casual players who ended up going like 1-4 [he has been playing as long as me]) and I end up with Gatekeeper.dek. I understand everybody has bad luck now and then, but it annoys me when it happens almost every prerelease I go to. I am not saying that I do not win (I took first in the RtR prerelease with my crappy pool). I am just annoyed that I always have crap to work with why almost everybody else gets cool baller stuff.  2 years of not getting cool prerelease pools starts to become depressing you know. Read my above post where you can find my last good prerelease pool was in Rise of the Eldrazi. I am just tired of all this bad luck I get every 3 months.

Debt to the Debtless isn't that good IMO
Outside of Limited, I agree. These games were slow enough that more than once I was able to cast it for 3, creating a 12-life swing. That's pretty crazy.

But yeah, it's too expensive to be effective in Constructed, I think.

That card was made for EDH. So many shenanigans. Just Cabal Coffers, Urborg, and Crypt Ghast with this. Let the Shenanigans ensue. I hope the blue mage has counter mana, because things get crazy if not.
