Picked Orzhov, got Azorius. Pulled a {Blood Baron of Vizkopa} and a {Debt to the Deathless}, among other things. I extorted, detained, and lifelinked my way to 2nd place. Blood Baron wrecks face.

Got Teysa and a foil Emmara in one of my prize packs, which was pretty cool.

The LGS herd by Noah's parents house is small time. 16 of us showed up. I was added in after 3 out of 4 rounds. Somehow got the bye in round three, went 2-0 in round 4. I built a nice WRU deck, wish I'd played the first two rounds, the deck was strong aggro.

Notable pulls include 2 {Blood Baron of Vizkopa},  {Master of Cruelties},  {Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts}, one other mythic I can't remember currently, plus two shock lands  {Breeding Pool} and  {Temple Garden}. also got the promo  {Maze's End} and Plains.

I made my deck top heavy and only two colors to take advantage of the fact that people were encouraged to build three color decks. So I would have a more stable land base and a faster creature base. I won three rounds before my opponents established a threatening board

Debt to the Debtless isn't that good IMO

Debt to the Debtless isn't that good IMO

you would have to pay like 8 in order to get your mana's worth on the effect

Although Orzhov is a bleeder deck, so this is strictly an Orzhov build card. They prepare for the long game, so this is only good as a win condition I think

Debt to the Debtless isn't that good IMO

Even then it isn't all that efficient.

My deck from yesterday punished the top heavy decks by beating their face with an insanely fast deck with a manabase that was very good (calculated mathematically)
