Results of Pre-release / DGM

Ok guys just returned from prerelease...

I went 4-2 with my Gruul deck that was splashed by {W}{B}{U}

It went really great, except of two first games that I lose because of my own mistakes or mana deprivation...

Anyway I end up 15th of cca 60 players and got 3 boosters of DGM and here are my pulls...

Very nice pulls.

I wasn't feeling particularly excited about this set, but decided to go ahead and go to a prerelease this afternoon, and think I am going to play gruul.  How did it do overall?

I was worried about boros guys but they were not that hard to beat...

I was lucky with my cards I got  {Clan Defiance} in gruul booster,  {Mizzium Mortars} in izzet booster and pulled  {Ruric Thar, the Unbowed} from one of DGM boosters... The only problem was that I did not have many 2 mana drops... I had a quite high mana curve...

But cluestones worked great for me... And one of the gamesavers  {Smelt-Ward Gatekeepers}... With 5 gates in deck... and  {Carnage Gladiator} worked fine as well...

We had a lot of Rakdos players, so we definitely finished the maze first

But I got some pretty crappy pulls.  Aside from the two {Obzedat, Ghost Council}s floating around, everyone did.  My most notable pull was my foil {Renegade Krasis}   Although, I won 2 packs and pulled an {Obzedat's Aid}.  But overall, I'm just glad I got 3 {Putrefy}s haha.

Oh  {Obzedat's Aid} is good pull as well.. Yeah I got only one  {Putrefy} and I wished for more of them...

But at least I got few cards for my control deck...

Haha aid is no {Ral Zarek} though!  And yeah, {Putrefy} and {Toil // Trouble} were incredible! 

And who could not love getting a promo plains??

Promo plains??? We got promo  {Maze's End}...

Oh I enjoyed to play {Turn // Burn}...

Almost every second deck here played  {Turn // Burn}, it was quite usual pull here...

Was going gruul/golgari. Won 3 rounds, lost 1.

2 of the rounds I won because of {ruric thar, the unbowed}

The second time I used him the opponent was unaware of his ability and played a sorcery and took 6 to the face

Yeah  {Ruric Thar, the Unbowed} is beast in limited... My last opponent casted instant on purpose... To kill himself...

Whitedrake, the plains is just an RTR foil plains with the signed date onthe bottom. It may be alt art, but I don't remember what all the regular plains look like

It reminds me I should order some zendikar full art basics...
