Ramp In Modern??

60 cards, 0 sideboard

18 {Forest}

18 lands

4 {Voyaging Satyr}
4 {Arbor Elf}
3 {Wolfbriar Elemental}
4 {Wurmcoil Engine}
3 {Emrakul, the Aeons Torn}
4 {Ley Druid}

22 creatures

4 {Utopia Sprawl}
4 {Market Festival}
4 {Fertile Ground}
4 {Gelatinous Genesis}
4 {Overgrowth}

20 other spells

Sideboard

Notes:
Saw this on MTGO and made my own improvements. Really fun and really explosive, but I don't know about it's competitiveness. Side board consists of your basic removal {Beast Within} {Back to Nature} and whatnot. {Wurmcoil Engine} can be put out T3 and {Emrakul} as early as T4

Mattao19

{Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx}

NovusOrbis

To what benefit?
Edit: Tried it, it's alright, but you ramp quick enough, so it's not really a huge benefit.

LinkCelestrial

18 lands? Seems really sketchy.

Mattao19

Voyaging Satyr and the other elf that untaps a land. Nykthos alone can tap for explosive mana idk worth a try for sure

NovusOrbis

The problem is having enough devotion for Nykthos

LinkToThePast

{Nissa, Worldwaker} the best ramping Plainswalker

LinkCelestrial

{Garruk, Wildspeaker} and {Nissa Worldwaker} are both great but {Garruk Wildspeaker} has more relevant abilities in this build IMO. You don't want your lands to become creatures as you're trying to enchant them and keep them safe.

Any plans against {Ghost Quarter}?

NovusOrbis

{Ghost Quarter} is the one problem with this deck and I really have no way around it yet. Is there some cheap instant or an enchantment that makes lands indestructible? It doesn't even matter if it's an opprnent's land

No one but Tron plays ghost quarter, you're fine.

Edit: Forgot Bloom Titan plays it in the board, still not a big enough worry to care IMO
Jund plays it. I jammed it into my tokens deck because my tron MU sucks, but obviously it's still a small concern, but it's relevant that more decks than tron have it.

LinkCelestrial

It is a card that says nope to your deck. If you start doing very well at FNM it's possible that it'll get into people's SBs. I agree that it's not /super/ relevant but sideboards are for two things, exposing weaknesses and patching your own.

LinkCelestrial

It's more about all the enchantments falling off than losing the land.

Jund players play Tec Edge.
I've seen Gerry Thompson play ghost quarter
