i like the free spell but i dont like sacing lands for it, and it cost to much on its own imo

Who uses lands these days?

Also, there is a lot of {Chalice of the Void} on 1 going about, you might not want to run a deck that can't beat it.

Or sideboard {Shatter} if it becomes a problem.

Go nuts!

And to be fair sacking lands for 4 damage is amazing

{Fireblast} is a must. Too nasty.

Too land heavy for Red Deck Wins in my option. Burn is my favorite in all formats. Especially since you are doing 1 drops try cutting 2-3 mountains. Also have you thought about adding  {Arid Mesa} ?

what is the point of mesa, if i could just drop a mountain with out paying 1 life, if i had white in the deck it would be more useful but, a mono red with all basics doesnt need a land that finds another land.

It's to thin out your deck so you have a better chance to draw spells and not blanks in lands. It's smart.

Using fetches solely for deck thinning is really effective.

Edit:  I meant isn't. Posting with a 5 year old climbing over you is tough.

Mattao19

Some math genius did an experiment and determined deck thinning wasn't all that worth it :P but having said that I always liked it bc just shuffling your deck can be really useful sometimes

Ejazz00

As others have posted. It's strictly for thinning the deck. Because let's say they have 6 life and you only have one burn in your hand. Do you want draw another land or want draw your last burn card?

I run Eidelon in my burn and it is one of the best cards I ever added.  Think of it this way.....you typically jump out to a huge start of bolting them and what not very early and your life total may be 18 while theirs is maybe 10-12......then you drop this Eidelon and he helps you race.  If they do not get rid of it....then you get a free {shock} each time they play under 4 CMC
Legacy is also almost all 3 CMC or less as well.  No matter what they play, they are going to be taking damage.

New lightning bolt + eidolon

EoOT: sac eidolon for cost, bolt bolt, next turn, play some burn, cast another eidolon, leave 2 mana open again for a repeat
