This isn't the first time he has pulled a stunt like this. He did some bullshit under a couple different names (drewy, maybe?) then cleaned up for months under slenderbro. Now he obviously doesn't give a damn about actually following through with trades.

Truth. He then came out a while later and admitted it.

Slender was Optic and Hexdrinker. That_guy was Drewy.

This is very sad ever scence Kuberr there has been so much theft... It needs to stop this section for trade is so helpful to those of us who have issues getting certain cards. And the theft makes some of us very scared to trade here even though there are so many trusted traders.

I agree. I live in SoCal so cards are extremely easy to get for me, but I don't have the needed time to really make to different LGS to find the cards. I also like to get cards that people are looking for in here to help out, but with this happening, I doubt I'm trading online anymore.

Yes this dose help for high value traders and the like but what about the guys makeing smaller traders that are not covered by a middle man service there's no garentie that they won't get ripped off and for some of these people it's all they have or can get ahold of

My advice is simple: ask a mod anyway.

Although the middleman service post says to not ask for trades under $25, if you are truly worried about your cards, then it's better to ask. The price limit was to try and prevent a ton of Pm's and confusion. The point of the service is to protect you guys, so if your cheaper cards are all you have, then by all means request the service.

I'll go out and personally say I don't care how small the trade is, I'll middleman for anyone. If your cards are important to you, I don't care if its a 5 dollar trade.

True I will even send my own cards first as collateral if people don't want to believe me lol. Would that put people's minds to rest I don't fathom the thought of stelling cards from fellow manic players I pride myself on honesty

Tracking is huge for making sure they got your end. Unfortunately as the community grows, we will attract more parasites who wish to harm the community. Communication is key in trades; also be familiar with the poster.

Mail trading is a huge liability and if you make good trades with a player constantly, let it be known! If the user created issues and couldn't communicate or reneged the trade constantly; be cautious and let us know also!
