It doesn't do enough. It takes up a turn for a bulky enchantment that has too little impact on the game itself. {Waste Not} is much better and for the same cost you get something no matter what they discard

My 8 rack sideboard is as follows:

Torpor orb x 2 - for reasons already stated
Disenchant x 3 - the deck cannot deal with artifacts or enchantments very well and bogles is a thing. So is the mirror.
Leyline of the void x 2 - every deck needs graveyard hate
Extirpate x 2 - for the control matchups. Does work against storm also.
Dismember x 2 - not a lot of main board removal. Comes in handy against creature heavy decks with creatures that have annoying abilities eg noble Heirach
Path to exile x 1 - see above
Damnation x 1 - when spot removal isn't enough. Gets around hexproof
Leyline of sanctity x 2 - burn and mill are a thing in my meta. Also useful in the mirror.

I don't run white in this list! But I line the suggestions

I was originally mono black but i just couldnt cope with any deck that relied on non creature permanents. Thats why i splashed white and havent looked back.

My white is only a small splash for path to exile (main and sideboard) and disenchant and path to exile and leyline of sanctity (sideboard). Ive found anything more puts too much strain on the mana base because i run a few double black spells in the mainboard. Urborg helps but im in a pretty happy place right now with the small white splash.

I've gone R/B with my 8Rack deck, then put one Overgrown tomb in for the Golgari charms in sideboard

Also, i find Liliana's Caress is just another wincon with the 8 racks. Combo Liliana's caress and waste not with Burning inquiry for insane value, and a load of damage

The problem I have with {Liliana's Caress} is that the mana I use it for will be used almost every time to get rid of threats from someone's hand and there is no room. The list is so tight at the moment.  Id rather run {Quest for the nihil stone} if I had the room.

I wouldn't run either. There are more efficient ways to use mana.

I know it's less awkward bc you don't care about your lands too much but how have you found 3 Urborgs? Does it get awkward?
