Yeah I was considering ratchet bomb but I think I would prefer to go with the white splash for {revoke existence} so I can deal with troublesome artifacts as well.  That way I can swap some of my creature removal for {path to exile}s. it's only going to be a very small white splash so I don't think it will put too much strain on my mana base.

I have all the cards for the white splash apart from 3 {marsh flat}. So once got my claws on them I'll be playing it.

{Revoke Existence} sucks in Modern. I'd go for {Disenchant} (doesn't exile but instant speed!)

Btw how is {Waste Not} treating you?

Played a MB 8rack vs U/B 8rack match on Monday. My mono black deck one 2-1-0. It came down to who got there {waste not} out first. Then down to who had the most rack affects.
Before {waste not} it was a easy match up get a rack out first you won.
But with {waste not} it turns into a quick brain teasing head ache. As you each  have to discard the right spells to keep you hand full from WN draws, but Also not to give your opponent mana or cards. You have to work out which is the lesser of two evils to go for.

For a laugh I added  {Staff of the Death Magus}. And oh my god it went well, paying 1 life for {thoughtseize} or {surgical exstaction} made my day. Beat my mates aggro deck silly end one game with 30 life!!!
