Ok or you can pay 3 to have a flier that makes your sphinx and Chimera cost less. Like if I were you I'd want the sphinx out ASAP and renewing doesn't offer that all it is is a 2/2 board stall until you can get your sphinx
it is more valuable then you think it is

Why ask for constructive criticism if you claim that your deck is already right where it should be and that everyone else's suggestions are wrong?
i never said its right were it should be. Read my posts. I'm only saying that I don't use it as a "board stall", and that it has more uses than just stalling the game

Alright, play it at FNM and let us know how it goes when you go T4 Runewing and your opponents go either T4 Jace, T4 Xenagos, T4 Purphoros, or T4 Advent.  We are just saying that Runewing is not nearly powerful enough to find a place in standard, it is incredibly underwhelming.  The spot can be so better filled.  NOT to mention that you said Guttersnipe is too slow as you play Runewing.   Makes me lol

Be nice guys he asked for help we shared our opinions it's his choice to approve/deny the suggestion (after all it is HIS deck lol)

On another note  {Mizzium Mortars} could be very useful here imo

Birdbrain

I edited the deck to add your suggestions. Thank you dirty mustacheo, Jordan Kirk, and dragn_rdr for your input. It's not finished yet, but I'm going to use your suggestions to polish off the deck

ive tried mortars already. You never can overload them when you need to.

Also, {anger of the gods} is more useful then the mortars anyway

I agree with the anger but do you have any form of protection of your critters? Bc I feel like it could hurt you worse than it'd hurt them

That's not how it works. Anger of the gods says if the creature would be put into the graveyard this way instead exile it. So it doesn't die it just gets exiled.

The deck wont actually work you know, not trying to be mean but your creatures will die very easily with nothing to protect the and no mana curve at all no offense

Its a good ide but run warden faiths reward and mizzium skin in place of things that are control cards like dissolve

JustAWalrus

Cut divination curse of the swine dissolve and prognostic sphinx and look at all the flying creatures in standard and ad the best of them

All the best ones cost a lot of mana

Which Is why this deck is control
