So lately I've been feeling ALOT more depresed than I usually do... :( I don't know why like ive been put in a bad mood sense my classmate got mad at me cuz I messed up. (I had trouble reading his hand writing and started cracking up.) any  ideas on what things i could do to feel better? Activitities?

Try being curious about things you've never thought of before. Take risks you don't normally take...although do be smart about this and don't do anything that could hurt you. I'm talking about try foods you haven't tried before. Try a hobbie you never thought about. Ect.
True happiness comes from within however. If you live life seeking a new thrill, you'll never be happy for long

be happy for your friends and share in there accomplishments. Be sad with your friends when there sad. Expand your friend base, reach out to people that you've never spoken to before. And a good walk through the woods also helps. Wildlife and nature can be interesting, take time to really observe it

Be careful when talking to some people though, there are some...*looks around* weirdos out there.  And not to be the bearer of bad news but they usually hang out in the woods.

But seriously though, bird knows what he's talking about.  Only way to cure this "depressed" phase is to climb out.  Hope this helps and makes you smile a bit :).

I've been struck with a pretty bad case of depression myself! I've never been a religious person and I've been thinking about death a lot recently. Like, what happens after we die? It can't just end, you know? :/

if your worried about it, try to do something good that will last for generations.
If Kansas is right, and we are just dust in the wind, than why not do something that won't be just dust in the wind. Why not volunteer your time in a homeless shelter or become someone who brings food to starving people in third world countries?

My good deeds won't last for generations.. I served in the military and I've been involved in countless volunteer projects over the last 5 years, I'm not at the point yet where knowing that I will be remembered matters to me. I'm just scared that there really is nothing after death.

Just being open and honest with you guys haha

Birdbrain

Don't do deeds to be remembered. Do them to leave a lasting ripple that will inspire others to do the same

Thinking about death can be a scary deal. I do believe that this is very likely all we have so I try to make everyday count. Here is a quote that always makes me smile and sums up how I try to live.

"To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."
