I've been struck with a pretty bad case of depression myself! I've never been a religious person and I've been thinking about death a lot recently. Like, what happens after we die? It can't just end, you know? :/
hrmmmmmmmmm  now you got ME thinking about this............uh-ho
if your worried about it, try to do something good that will last for generations.
If Kansas is right, and we are just dust in the wind, than why not do something that won't be just dust in the wind. Why not volunteer your time in a homeless shelter or become someone who brings food to starving people in third world countries?
My good deeds won't last for generations.. I served in the military and I've been involved in countless volunteer projects over the last 5 years, I'm not at the point yet where knowing that I will be remembered matters to me. I'm just scared that there really is nothing after death.

Just being open and honest with you guys haha

You better stay alive. I'm sending you my Elspeth to take care of! :P

You know, everyone has days when they are feeling blue. There is no real answer for curing it. You just gotta find that one thing that makes you happy and make it part of your every day life. I used to struggle with stress and depression for a few years, but I found my outlet 2 years ago. My daughter. When she was a newborn her favorite place was in my arms and I loved it. Now, at 2 years old she greets me at the door when I get home...no matter how long in gone, she needs a hug and a kiss and tells me she loves me. Sure I've had days where I was down. But 1 smile of hers makes me forget all about it.

not necessarily. i know some very dumb people who happen to get depressed, as many as the wise people who are depressed at least. mental state and wisdom don't hold much correlation.

As a counter argument, ppl u know and personal experience does not help your argument. Search depression realism and over confidence effect in relation to depression

id say you need not be depressed, nor look at the world through rose colored glasses. Both have strengths in there view points
