Dude I feel bad for u. Don't worry about the stuff u can't controll. Just do things that you enjoy doing. For me that's family, camping, gym, and magic. I know it Is easier said than done. I used to think about stuff too. I am just saying if you can't change it let it go.

I must agree with BJ (can i call u that?) that our country is going through a rough patch.
I prefer Jester, but that hasn't stopped most people.  NBD.   ::)  What's in a name?

I went though a faze of getting bullied because I said I liked a girl and I said it to her face.
I was deppresed an entire year
How I got out of it was listen to eminen
Lol.
One line helped me through this tough year:
" I know some sh*t is hard to swallow but I can't sit back and wallow"

America is at a low point, everyone agrees. But the whole world is. Our economy is in the basement but Europe is about to collapse under its own weight. Since we are down here the only way is to go up and the only way we can go up is if we rise together and take back our country from the government.

"When the government fears the people their us freedom. When the people fear the government there is tyranny."

I noticed working out helps depression a lot. For a long time I was similar to you. I just feel better, and there is science supporting it.

Maybe try a hobby that involves physical activity:  Jogging, weights, martial arts, or my personal favorite, juggling.

Whenever I'm feeling unJestery, I'll do housework or go for a walk, or something like that.

Or, if you listen to Penn's Sunday School podcast on iTunes (and you should!  It's explicit, but hilarious!) you can eliminate all of your problems in the world but one by lighting yourself on fire.  Guaranteed, you will not have anything else on your mind for like 30 seconds or so.  (No, I'm not really suggesting you light yourself on fire.  That would hurt.  Don't do it.)

Funny youtubers!  Man, I've been down in the s---, and watching Tobuscus/Pewdiepie/Smosh helped.

And yeah, I totally agree with the people saying excercise.  I had this point where I was crazy about this girl, and I knew she couldn't care less about me, but I kept my head up by just walking a lot.  It doesn't necessarily take a gym subscription or heavy weight lifting.  I just strolled around te park listening to music for an hour or two.

And just so you know, being a geek doesn't mean you can't get a girlfriend/wife.  Women can be equally geeky!  And I know ugly usually goes hand-in-hand with geeky, but it doesn't have to.  I'm sure there are plenty of hot nerdy girls out there!  And yeah, looks aren't everything, but, hey, nerds are awesome.  They like to do fun stuff, not boring stuff.

As for the economy/government, you kinda just have to go with it.  I wish there was more advice I could give on that :-\. The economy has it's ups and downs.  I believe it is every 8-12 yearsthere is a recession/depression (I think.  Spent most of my time in business class asleep...)  there isn't really much anyone can do about that.  Eventually the country will roll out of it, we just have to give ittime.  And hey, I am old enough to need a job and can't find anything.  At least you have a couple years of waiting fir the economy to straighten up.

Damn I get long-winded in the early early morning!

Teenage years are a bitch, no?

Oh, and for saving money, the best thing I can think of is to force yourself to put it into a savings account and not touch it.  And don't get a debit card immediately after like I did.  I'm still blowing all my money even though I don't have any actual dollar bills....

I've been through some pretty crappy stuff, but I've always found that friends and family are usually a pretty good way to help keep your chin up!

If it helps, my wife is hot and nerdy.  We watch ST:tNG and she thinks Picard is tha bomb, and he's old and bald (and STILL a bad ass!).  I'm telling you this because she likes me for my sense of humor, my attitude, and confidence.  Chicks dig that.  Just don't be a DB, that's not confidence, that's cockiness.

A big part of healthy relationships is being happy with who you are, comfortable in your own skin.  I'm sure you're a cool dude, just relax and go with it.

Sevenfold

You have to look at it like this. In all reality it doesnt really affect you directly. U may think it does now, but once you get about20 and all u do is work you spend less time on the youtube videos and more time just trying to pay bills. I went thrpw this when i was in the sixth grade and i have a close friend that is going throw it now. Just hang in there and dnt do anything crazy, just keep your mine clear.
