So, it looks like Battle for Zendikar's Expedition prints are all ten Fetches, all ten Shocks and the five Discount Double Check lands from BFZ.

Now to speculate on OGW's...  We know five of them will be DDC lands.

TO Expand:

We know for almost certain that we're getting the other 5 DDC Lands in Oath, as WotC doesn't print partial cycles anymore.  This means we'll have them there and in the Expeditions prints for that set.  That's 5 of the 20 slots.

We're likely to see a full, 10-card cycle for the Oath Expeditions, which gives us a few options: Original Check Lands, Manlands from original Zendikar (Worldwake?) and Battle for Zendikar, Theros Temples or Shadowmoor-block Filter Lands.  I'm not including the Tri-Lands because it wouldn't make sense to print lands in Expeditions that weren't originally at Rare.

That leaves an awkward 5 slots.  Logic says this will be the Mirrodin Fast Lands, as that's really the only 5-card cycle of Rare Lands in recent years.  Unless they dip down to Uncommon for Lorwyn Vivds or print 5 Five-color lands, (OR PRINT QUAD LANDS IN OATH?) that's probably what they are.  There is one other possibility that I barely even want to type out...  Terese Nielsen Basics?

So, some speculation.

Don't say terese Nielsen... I'm out of pants.

I thought he said they are going to do a total of 40 lands 25 this set then 15 next set.

So basically: most of bfz will be worthless
(Going by khans & how fetches have affected those prices)

Kaylesh

Wasn't that the point of the expeditions?
Drive up sales, like Wonka did with the Golden Ticket?

I'm interested to see pricing. If thwyre really 300$ boxes have a change to pay for 3 more boxes theoretically.....

Please recheck and resubmit

This kind of wants me to get two foreign boxes instead of english...

MuggyWuggy

I agree, As a foreign buyer, I know my cards will be traditionally worth more just due to rarity

So going for the random box of Russian always seems a better idea

Mr_Fahrenheit

This might be the block where you dont splurge on booster packs at all. Buy a few hoping to get lucky but by and large it might be better to just buy singles for a while.

Lots spec say this is the sealed product to hold on to

Can imagine. Uncracked it has the potential for any full art expedition. Lottery appeal. Pretty much like the treasure packs a LGS in our country made. Entire revised set including P9, and other "goodies" randomly packed. Bought two, got pretty much junk. (Best value? I think that'd be Russian {hollow dogs}). So: closed it COULD contain a {black lotus} Revised, now, it's a collection of junk.

MuggyWuggy

Yeah
You won't profit from a box

Seems like wiz wants to reduce price of standard singles by putting eternal chase cards in standard product so people just cash out on em

It does increase the appeal of competitive play, which wizards seems to want.

Anyone else getting a bit excited for the allies? Rally is basicly constellation.
