I'd dump {vexing devil} for {stormblood berserker}, or just add him in addition.

The difference between the 2 counters is U really. One is good for early game or when opponent is tapped out and the other costs more but counters unless they counter it. Like mentioned above run 3 leaks and 2 dissipates. Sounds smart

thats what i origionaaly had, but i couldnt think of a reason that stormblood was better than the devil...

It's better if they say "ok, I take 4 life", then you don't have a creature. Or if they say "go ahead", and destroy it. Stormblood is a beast, and if you give him a sword he's bad news.

The problem with creatures like {vexing devil} is that your opponent is always going to make the best choice for them at the time he drops. So if they have advantage, they can limit him.

He becomes less valuable the longer the game goes, as the game progresses towards turn 5, the fatties are on the field and he's only a good chump blocker.

Is he worse then {stormblood berserker}? Probably not. Id rather have stormblood with a pike, dealing first strike damage on 2 creatures.

true, but early in game he is rly good, either 4 damage turn 1 if they take it or 4 on turn 2 from the attack, and thats y i have him in here, to get some good early game damage in

Taking 4 damage for card advantage (you're down a card) and possible board control isn't the end of the world. It's why phyrexian mana cards are popular...you're using a resource (life total) to remove an opponents resource (creature).

The 4 on turn 1, or 4 on turn 2, well none of that is guaranteed. Say your opponent has an answer to it, and doesn't take the damage?

My point is, leaving choices to opponents results in them making the best choices for themselves. It could likely be a better option then Stormblood, but I don't see it as a clear cut "better" card. I haven't play tested vexing devil yet

neither have 1, thats another 1 of the reasons im using it
