Tournament Level Modern Decks (Updated 2/14/2016)

Blue Moon isn't tier 1. Angel Pod should also be up there. Junk isn't a deck archetype in tier 1. It is literally BGx Souls. Junk is a fledged deck that utilizes white, not splashes it.

RUG Delver doesn't put up enough results.
BW Midrange is tier 2
Hatebears is tier 2.

UWR is hardly tier 1 anymore

The main Top tier decks are

Jund, BG Midrange, Affinity, Tempo/RUG Twin, Melira Pod.

The decks that are tier 1.5 are UWR Control, Kiki pod, Angel Pod, GR Tron.

Let's also note the fact that information is being wrongly given here.

Oh, RUG Delver is literally UR Delver+Goyf.
Dead Ale Guy is BW Midrange
Death and Taxes is Hatebears.

This is modern dude, RUG Delver, D&T, and Dead Guy Ale are legacy.

No there are a lot of Deadguy ale modern decks. There is also modern d&t and rug

I appreciate the time you take to make these. But IMO it's really clunky and is overbearing with information. It would be better if we could get people to actually write a deck list and break down of these decks if they play them. And organize it more like this http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?topic=29294.0 then you can load it in deck builder. I was thinking of trying to start something like this but I don't have the time necessary right now. Just a suggestion.

Cool thanks. But remember to copy and past work good to move decks. I would also suggest maybe posting the next four lines on the thread in case you want to change it up a bit.

So, the only Major Tournament that UWR wasn't a major force at was GP Boston.

yeah, it will always be a teir 1. Its one of those decks that if a person is a pro at the deck they can do well at an event, and there will always is bound to be a list that a professional player is playing in a non open tournament (invite only/qualifier), but are not as common in less elite player bases, if that made sense

Angel Pod is a meta call and shouldn't be tier one if you're a calling it a different archetype than Melira Pod.

BG Midrange is only tier 1 as BGx Souls properly.

So he's a big two-drop, right, but there is almost no removal spell in modern that can't kill him
