Also, what decks are you always beating?  Your play groups casual decks?  I doubt this would hold up vs tier 1 decks.  My tron deck would stabilize and then procede to kick butt.

Tron is so slow though.

Tron loses to Crystalize and oblivion ring, Zoo loses to the Bant Sureblades. Board wipe isn't an issue because I can stabilize the turn after by playing three more creatures. Those are the two decks I've played the most and I played an enchantment deck that was just too slow to keep up

Will consider honor of the pure over adventuring gear but the other stuff is staying. I'd rather kill them before they are able to stabilize and path to exile gives them the land to do so. I might seem a bit paranoid but this deck failed so miserably with the path to exiles in it.

And oblivion stone wouldn't pop till turn five. Also torn isn't played too much anymore is what I've been noticing. So my deck does a good job of racing most decks to the kill

I just cast more creatures. I have enough low cost stuff to do it. And also I can just O-ring the oblivion stone on turn three with is how I've been constantly beating tron

This deck loses to field control, lifegain and pretty much anything that can survive 5 turns, which is pretty easy. You dump your hand then what? You lose because you can't catch up. There is a reason why we never see these kinds of decks in events. Also, spot removal is important and path to exile is top tier.

I see where you're coming from here. But from what I've done with the deck it's consistently winning. I don't know if that's luck or whatever but it's been going well. I will most definitely consider the Path to Exile but I can't guarantee it will be played in the deck. Miranda crusader for sure though. That card fits right in

One more thing. I try to focus on building decks against my meta game, not the world's. My meta is tron, zoo, one fae deck, and a weird deck built around Mindslaver. So in my meta, the games are all races. If I can't win on turn five or six, I'm not going to. Simple as that.

Yeah I know. I went to a modern tournament this weekend at a different game store place thing and got rocked by a Pod deck. I ended up destroying a tron deck and completely flattening an odd Modern BUG Delver deck

Did the tron deck have {pyroclasm}s?

I'm guessing if it's a decent torn deck it probably did. That's the joy of magic. This deck hits the nuts it's going to be a lot of pressure.

The meta right now is getting hyper aggroey.

There were some Pyroclasms that he sided in but he didn't draw into them. After my Thalia hit the board he scooped because he couldn't play his oblivion stone and wipe the board

Then I apologise. It's my fault for being an ignorant jerk. I shall consider the words of others and I still am. I'm thinking of removing landfall artifacts for {Path to Exile} but I wouldn't know what else to remove to get it working the way you people would like to see it run

Mana leak is a good idea. I'll need to get another one then because I only have 2. I don't want to use root born defenses because there's stuff I'd rather do with three mana. Mana leak is very good. I need to know what to remove. And what you said was not rude. It was correct.

Ok. I'm keeping the various blade dudes because they usually win it for me. I'll make them four ofs and remove the duo as well as the nyxborn shieldmates for some more {Signal Pests}. I just got my hands on another {Champion of the Parish} so I'll find a place for that as well
