Miles is the only one that gives me much trouble for some reason, I just know that in inces it is 12 x approx. 5700. Close enough, eh?

Standard sucks, plain and simple. Metric actually makes sense, unlike most of 'Murica

40-70 in fall
50-80 in spring
95-110 in summer.
Gotta love the south ;)

Snow in October, still having snowstorms in may? -25--50 in winter? Gotta love the north ;)

Edit: and that's Celsius, none of this Fahrenheit bullcrap eh?
I'm American, I use the American system. Now cry me a river mr. Metric.

Well in that case I'm sorry your temperature measurement system was designed by an idiot throwing numbers around

Me as an American think we should switch I've to metric it's a lot easier
easier doesn't mean better ;)
in this case it does
I measure things in feet, I know my pool is 48 feet long. I am 5 feet and 11 inches tall. It is 91 degrees right now and I know what that means. Why change?

Because at 91 degrees your pool is nearly boiling

I am going to give a situation and I want to see your people's opinion on it.

I have to poster frame in my house
One says 24 in x 30 in
Two says 24 in x 36 in

I measured them and
One measures 27 in x 33 in
Two measures 25 in x 38 in

How does that happen?

may be the dimensions of the poster that they fit, the dimensions of the frame on the outside will be larger. Did you measure along the outside of the frame?

Yeah I measured the outside, but the frame is thin so I don't think that's it

Most likely they were made over seas where they use metric and they are so off because of a combination of inproper conversion rates and inaccurate measuring.
