I have an idea.  Let us all e-mail Mark Rosewater maturely.  Asking why all of the aggro recently, and when control will be a popular thing again.  The mature e-mail is much better than the few page long rant.

But less fun than spamming with a few page long rants.
polite asking, plus rants might be more effective

Dibs on ranting!!!
i'll send him an e-mail that's somewhere in between tommorow

I'll act CRAAAAAZYYYYYY about this!!!!
send MaRo a e-mail

Google!

Also, you can contact him via e-mail at the bottom of his "making magic" columns on the mtg website

I like that artifact enchantment.  Why might you ask?

Turbofog.  Think about it.

Play {Goblin Diplomats}, then {elite archivist} with {Fog}. Keep spamming that out while you form a team of hitters.  Then play that when mana is sufficient.  Hit for a bit with quite a number of creatures.  Draw even more attackers.

I like this in commander, seems a bit slow for standard, and especially modern.  But remember, it's Turbo Fog.  It is supposed to be slow.

Birdbrain

What are tools red and blue have against that world eater hydra thing?

Birdbrain

I can see it giving my flying deck trouble...

Anyone read the new article? Trojan horse all but confirmed, sick sounding creatures, and a card that could have been in modern masters ({thoughtsieze}?)and I'm starting to become sure when I say the new-old ability will be chroma, just reworked and worded as say, devotion.

Just so you don't have to look yourselves-

A 3/3 with three abilities that uses fate counters
Multiple cards with the word "nongorgon"
A high-profile cycle of legendary permanents that are not creatures or lands
A rare card with five words of rules text in which one of the words is "planeswalker"
An artifact creature that appears to be a big horse made out of wood
A 5/5 giant snake that can be cast for (G)(G)
A multicolor Minotaur lord
A card that could have been in Modern Masters
A giant that brings fire to humans
A creature with a saboteur ability (it has an effect if the creature deals combat damage to an opponent) which is one of the Power Nine
Here are a few names of cards you will see:

Anger of the Gods
Chained to the Rocks
Lost in a Labyrinth
Rescue from the Underworld
Underworld Cereberus
Witch's Eye
Finally, here are some of the creatures you're going to see (note that not all of these are creature types and is only a partial list):

Catoblepas
Chimera
Cyclops
Harpy
Hippocamp
Hundred-Handed One
Kraken
Nymph (Alseid, Dryad, Lampad, Naiad, and Oread)
Pegasus
Satyr
Siren
Triton

Mizark

Wait, no Centaurs and Manticores ?? 😕

Ih well, Chimera FTW !! 😄

Holy crap. Sometimes, I just don't even bother with MtG Daily columns/articles. Not because they're bad but because they're so damn good and rife with juicy info!

They're like the good and positive version of Google Doctor where you type in "head ache and compacted left ear" and four link clicks and an hour later: "You have early onset blood cancer of the brain in the fourth trimester." I start reading a column (a Rosewater one ordinarily) and an hour later I haven't finished the initial article about the current set because somehow I'm in a post from years ago about why planeswalkers did blah blah blah.

Ugh, too much cool stuff to read, not enough free time!

Birdbrain

the hippocamp must have an excellent memory. i bet it remembers every single detail of every moment of it's life :P

Hahaha, thanks. I went to DailyMTG but didn't seen anything that I thought would be about Theros so I spent the next 20 minutes scouring the internet trying to find it....when it was just under my nose.

Intriguing. I wonder what he means by "which is one of the Power 9." Obviously nothing to do with THE power 9, does he mean power 9 of Theros?

Yes he means the power 9. The creature will produce the effect when it deals damage to a player. Likely {timetwister} though could be {time walk}.
