"divine intervention" mechanic...
i totally agree with this idea. However they better call it by its contemporary name Deus Ex Machina, or we Greek Theatre and History fanatics feel sorely let down, having missed an awesome literary Easter Egg...

... in keeping with the lore of olympus style gods, their powers could be both limited and exagerated based upon what shrines (enchantments) are erected in their name.
BRAVO!!! This is a great idea! I see so many mechanics that would suit this as a base concept...

I'm hoping they bring out some fabulous Gorgons. I've always wanted to make a Gorgon deck, as well as a Minotaur deck, but there just aren't enough decent cards to play.
i saw in a spoiler that said "if you like minotaurs, this is the set for you. I'll find it later and put it on here

What about a new morphing version of morphing where it can start face down then become a god but at any time you can flip it back face down and it gains Hexproof since it blends in with the humans

Oooooo, LOVE this idea!

It won't happen. MaRo has said that he has tried doing more with morph but the rules say any face down card is a normal 2/2, no exceptions. Unless they change the rule, which they could, it won't happen. Although flip cards could work this way. On the daylight side it's a bird or something and on the night side its a god. Actually there are good chances we will see flip cards again, it was just discussed in a Daily MTG article (20 Things that Almost Killed Magic) where they said despite initial outrage, it ended up the most popular mechanic of the Innistrad block.

what about two sided flip cards? Though I'm not sure how flip cards did back in kamigawa. Though kamigawa would be the perfect place for them to use that mechanic again. I'd like them to blend those two mechanics together just because it would be outrageously weird

Apparently, there doing the prerelease similar to return to ravnica block. Only you pick one color to play. They give you a pack of that color and a bunch of other packs

When will legit spoilers be up? Like mythicspoiler

How bout a land mechanic similar to the tainted cycle in torment? I.e, tap to add colorless, or if you control a plains, tap to add either W or U?

Agrus Kos, Enforcer of Truth

I think they should do something like {Nimbus Maze}.

Mattao19

It should be a basic plains though bc with shocks you just have another check

Nimbus maze fits thematically with theros. There was a legend about a maze...of course it was guarded by a Minotaur. But still, there was one none the less, and so that card fits Theros

Yes because it's not like there's something like the metagame or something like that that would be really screwed up.

there taking steps to fix it. You can see it in M14. You can see it in the fact that Theros has a small mono-colored theme. You can see it in the dual lands that they're talking about that will discourage people from playing more than two colors
