The OP was asking if he could pick more than five colors, I believe this is because he thought that if you already have picked that color you could not pick it again meaning cartel would only be limit to 5 sacrifices.  Thankfully this is not the case as you can pick blue as many times as you want sacrificing as many thing as you want
