Okay I was in a situation where I could have won if I sacked my board to this guy but my oppenet said I could pick more than 5 colors. Is that true and here is the card  {Cartel Aristocrat}

There are only 5 colours. If you were to sac 5 creatures, you could give it protection from all colours. I'm not sure what you're asking though so I hope this helps.

You could double/triple/gotten as many redundant protections from the same color. You could have sacced your entire board even the aristocrat itself.

You can't sac the cartel aristocrat to itself. It says "sacrifice another creature"

Not that you'd want to, cause protection won't save it from going to the graveyard as part of the cost, but I digress...

Doubling up isn't going to change anything. Protection from red is protection from red no matter how many times you do it. Only difference would be stack tricks.

Activated abilities use the stack. Example time

You have {cartel aristocrat} and let's say 5 spirit tokens in play.  You attack your opponent. In response, you're opponent plays {lightning bolt} targeting the aristocrat. In response to that, you sac a spirit, choosing red. Now, in response to that, they lightning bolt again (aristocrat doesn't receive protection until the ability resolves). Now you can sac another spirit token and name red again and save it.

No I'm asking if I can do it to deal the damage with  {Blood Artist} I just need to know if I can sack more than 5 times

A creature can only be sacrificed once. Once it is sacrificed it cannot be sacrificed again because its gone.

You can use cartel aristocrats ability of sacrificing creatures until you run out of creatures to sacrifice. So yes, more than 5. If you had 10 creatures plus the aristocrat, you could activate the ability 10 times. Redundant for protection but a great sac outlet.

Your not understanding what I'm saying, okay can I sack 5 creatures to my aristocrat to deal him 5 damage and I gain 5 life with blood artist can I keep sacking because I have more creatures to sack to finish him off can I do that because I want to kill him with blood artist

You could sacrifice more than 5 creatures with {Cartel Aristocrat} and be able to trigger {Blood Artist}.

Yes. It's also useful to list all of the cards youre using. The confusion came from the fact that you didnt mention {Blood Artist} in the original post, so no one knew what you were talking about.
