Karma number is a public record of karma flow. Karma is people's to give and take, it is protected by free speech natural law.

It makes sense to lurk around as a guest and listen passively for as long as it takes to understand any community's unwritten rules. If you start talking too early the risk of offending people is not reduced.

Karma come and go, no need to panic, go with the flow, calm down and it will rebuild.

If you obey the law, all will be fine.

So strange to get a look at what seems to annoy people.

Now everyone can see who is going to get Black Jester to 100 Karma! The race is on. I was 97...

Well, no. Only Elders and Hands can see that.

Would it be possible to see who did the karmic voting?

Wally

Can you tell me if I've voted anyone down, I've had some laggy missclicks recently and I'd hate to have voted someone down that didn't deserve it.
Thanks :)

Piotr

This info is Elders and Hands only, no exceptions, sorry.

Wally

No probs, just thought I'd ask.

prayos

Would it be possible to have an anonymous msg (that would be optional) added when we vote down?

Piotr

Doable, I'm not sure if its worth the effort through.

MuggyWuggy

I'm sorry but that seems silly in a forum, an anonymous like/dislike is one thing, but an anonymous comment when disliked? Just stand by your statement with your username and a quote of what you didn't like. No need to hide behind a downvote.

Rass

Personally I don't really understand the whole karma thing. But when you post names behind who gave +/- karma people are likely to respond with the same to the other person

I think it's funny what I've gotten bad karma for. If someone disagrees they disagree; that's life.

Take the high road or the low road is how I look at it
