With a diregraf capt or a cemitary reaper that gives me an army of 4/4 by about turn 5 or 6 without tokens for late game. If I get 2 more doom blades and add negates, that give me some control early game. Conclussion: zombie player wipes the board with any thing without flying first strike or a blasphemous act

Actually what I aim for next are some rune binders any thoughts on them? (for those who don't know, rinebindr is a 4 mana human that lets me exile a creature from my graveyard, turn out a 2/2 and give all zombies a 1/1 counter for 3 mana)

Forum Pro Tip #1:  putting curly brackets around card names creates a link to them in the app.  See:  {Havengul Runebinder}

Forum Pro Tip #2: Did you know you can also access this forum online, from your PC/Mac/Linux box:

Or white decks can simply win with crusader or hero?

BlackJester

So, you would say that Human decks are the ones to beat in meta?  What beats Humans then?  Anything?

Slaga slasha

Well that and probly some others but it can win tournaments

I'm saying when you are considering an aggro deck that spams stuff and makes them all bigger, then humans are better in just about every way

Alaskanice

I feel with DA, zombies are the tribal group that has the best chance of taking the humans on. I have four standard decks that I play currently, and it seems like the one to beat is always the human one.

What I was trying to get at is, if you knew your meta was full of good human decks, would you have a counter-strat? Or would you just build a better humans?

I will build whatever that will win the most. If the meta is full of humans, it is because someone came up with a great idea of the deck and no one can find an effective way of beating it (cawblade for example). If it means that I can't beat the deck, I will build the deck except better.

BlackJester

So, no "paper" for the meta "rock" then, huh?

Validan

Since when did skill stop players from being better? :(

Slaga slasha

Doesn't matter how skilled u r without the proPer weapons

One of the important skills as a competitive player is analyzing the meta (or play environment) and using that information to build the best deck.  Not my forté, being a kitchen table player.

Or, you could just control-C some net deck and focus on the gameplay.  There are many skills required to be a talented player.

I think the area I'm in runs vampires or were wolves.when wws go big and vamps go fast what deck would be good? Humans are not an option: nobles beat human way easy.

Why bother about the Noble when you can gut shot, dismember, oblivion ring, marrowshards, etc. it is pretty slow to begin with in the first place.
Just because someone has one card that happens to be good against your deck doss not mean your deck becomes discounted completely.
