The problem with your ideas it is that they all have been tried
...and as we all know if you try something a couple times and it doesn't work, completely abandon the idea and all related routes. To quote Daniel Tosh, "does everything have to be so black and white in this kindergarten country of ours?" I'm sure you have heard of Edison's quest to make a light bulb, it took over 10,000 attempts, but I bet if you look around your house, you will see he succeeded.
Moron is not a person who makes a silly mistake, moron is a person who makes the same mistake over and over again. Socialism fails for a reason, well explained and logical. Reality proves that failure again and again.
So Edison was a moron? And your definition is off. Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Trying to achieve a goal by using different techniques and approaches is problem solving.
Let me revise that statement, when working conditions are bad (I summarized), and they have no choice but to take it to stay alive, that's when unions are good.
as i said before, werent to good for Great Britain, even in those conditions. 16 hour work days at 10 cents an hour? unions tried but were never able to do that, it took a huge political movement to fix that problem.

People want to go into the military even though they don't get 6 digit salarys. They still get respectable salarys, for example I know several people in the military, and they all make about $60,000 a year. That's not amazingly high, but that's still enough to raise a family and such. The dangerous conditions, well... You can't do anything about that. No one can. The military IS spending insane amounts of money on increasing safety though.
Safety is increasing, yes. What ranks are the people you know? I've been in eleven years, and I only make about 32k a year as an E5. Deployments, especially to combat zones, are always dangerous, yet a lot of the incentives to deploy are disappearing. The military is being forced to make a lot of cuts, just like the American education system is being forced to make cuts. This I really hate, as education is probably one of the most important things to have.

Actually, the Labour Party helped to push the Liberal movement in England to help the lower class.
but not a single reform was made as a direct result of the Labour Unions, it might have helped the moral of the people and established for them set goals of what they wanted to happen, but it most certainly did not make it happen.

No, it is moronic to try implementing Socialism again and again.

No, what took to fix the problem was the progress of technology, people become more efficient through use of machines. Thus making it possible for shorter working hours, and this process will continue. Nothing to do with trade unions, who only slow the progress of technology, by imposing silly regulations via government. We have better working conditions despite trade unions., not thanks to them. Workers want better conditions and they ask for better conditions every yearly review. You will learn that when you experience the real world

yep, trade unions most certainly didn't help, despite their intentions.

Yes they did. Read speeches and memoirs about the Liberal reforms at the beginning of the twentieth century. One of the major concerns was the rise of Labour and trade unions and losing power to both them and socialism if reforms were not made. To say they accomplished nothing is silly. The same goes for the United States. Hell, Germany was run by Social Democrats, who helped establish the moden welfare state.
Oh, they helped establish plenty of evil things. You are correct that Hitler was a Socialist, but I'm not sure he and his Socialist Germany is something to be proud of?

I was referring to the party that held power around the turn of the 20th century. Hitler executed and persecuted members of the SDP and that comment is an insult to those whom he murdered. Perhaps if you weren't in such a hurry to hate socialism you'd make less ignorant statements.
Hitler was a democratically elected leader of National Socialist German Workers Party. He was a Socialist. This is an objective truth.
Your statements are insult to all people able to think logically, and you are treading a very thin ice.
Hitler was a fascist, quite a different ideology, and was concerned with matters of fanatic nationalism and race. Socialism, as described by the SDP, is about class and the brotherhood of workers beyond the boundaries of the state.
LOL. Fascists are Socialists, you dare to insult my political knowledge without knowing the very basics yourself. German economy during the time of Hitler was run in a Socialist manner, this is an objective fact.
Whatever the crooks from SDP described themselves as or what their intentions were doesn't matter at all, what matters was that they ruined German economy by implementing Socialism. As far as economy goes, there is not significant difference between SDP or NSDAP or any other Socialist party. They rob the people of their wealth and redistribute it under false pretences.

However, seeing as you have threatened executive action both here and on PM, I will acquiesce to your request to stop saying things you don't like.
You insult me suggesting that my research is inadequate, I spent 20 years studying Socialism in its various forms. If you want to keep posting on this forum, do it in a civilised manner. Do not lie. I'm not interested in your opinions about myself, but if you insist on sharing these I'll let you know that I divide people advocating Socialisms into two groups: morons or crooks.
