Started at like 7 years old and my first set was tempest! I am currently 24

Started during Avacyn Restored! Still considered a newb in the long run, but I LOVE old cards <3 I'm 24.

I'm 27. Got into the game around kamigawa. Got out of it for a year, then came back around guildpact. Got out of it around shadowmeir, then got back into it a month after RtR was released

There are actually more than you think! I actually got into it because of how beautiful the art was; and now I absolutely love the game. I've bound a copy of the rules and I'm in the process of studying and learning as many cards as I can so that I can test for judging

That's sick! I've always wanted to become a judge and when I was 7, I started for the exact same reason, the art. Back in the early days of magic, the art was so "dark" I was fascinated by it. Death was the main theme lol back then I didn't care/understand what the cards did, as long as they looked cool
