EDH - Child of Alara

I'm building a deck with Child of Alara as the commander. Say, I have child in play, then cast Phyrexian Rebirth.
Will child's ability trigger if I choose to put it in the command zone instead of graveyard?
Will I get the token or will it be destroyed by the child?

I'm pretty sure that going to the command zone is in replacement of going to the graveyard, so the ability won't trigger.

If you did put her in the grave with phyrexian rebirth... I wanna say that the rebirth would resolve it's first effect, then child would trigger, go on top the rebirth on the stack. If this is how it actually works, then you would get the token. Not positive on that though
