I like MTGO well enough.

Pros: Play anywhere, anytime, over time makes you a better Magic player, play tons of different formats, good if you don't have a gaming store near you, most cards are cheaper

Cons: No social interaction (Commander IMO is a lot worse online), interface is clunky (they'll roll out a new one very soon), costs money, slightly high learning curve

If you do decide to get on then I recommend waiting until early August because your account comes with some tickets you can use to draft and new M13 cards rather than the old M12.

I myself am waiting for RTR to start before joining MTGO. I like the idea of drafting (for the most part) whenever I want. I love drafting and I am always looking for new ways to win.

I got it for draft and I can't FNM as much as I want so I figured it would give me my fix.

Pros: You get to play against alot of different decks instead of your buddies who play the same few decks that you can pre-strategize against. Alot of the old cards are much cheaper example: {mishra's workshop} is $12 unlike $300 for the paper version. No shuffling! All rules are implemented properly by the A.I. Play at any time, even 3 in the morning. Great deck building system.

Cons: less satisfaction from owning the digital version of a card, players are more prone to quit mid-game when things aren't going there way.

I highly recommend it, and I never regret the thousands of dollars I have invested in it. If your interested in card prices check out marlonmtgo.com
