Fateful hour: you and each permanent you control gains protection from color of your choice until end of turn

Yeah, I'd say it makes bonfire a dead card if fateful hour triggers.

Sideboard!  Lol I'd love to play my pod vs this deck lol it wouldn't be pretty. Turn 3 elesh norn what?

This whole deck is cheaper than a single Elesh, it is more original, and it's just fun to play in general. Stop bringing it down, for real. It isn't going to top 8 anywhere. But it is fresh and unexpected and can still hold its own.

Not entirely true. U/w delver runs {timely reinforcements} that card slows down most RDW substantially. Well at least enough to get its way. U/w delver is a pretty strong archetype...it's been around for awhile..it'll get neutered when scars rotates.

Not bringing it down at all. I was just proving a point. I'm actually a big fan of home brews and cheap decks

Maybe {Witchbane Orb}s to protect against some a$$høle miracling a {Thunderous Wrath}
{faith's shield} is surprisingly a great card for that and also shuts down {bonfire}s

The shield will save your creatures but not you from bonfire. The orb saves you from both bonfire and wrath. Look into b putting them in your side against RDW and black discard control.
The shield does save me during my fateful hour, actually. Maks bonfire a dead card
No actually, it doesn't "each permanent you control". If players were permanets {Beast from Within} wouldn't exist.
{Faiths Shield} does save him from bonfire. It reads "if you have 5 or less life you and each permanent you control".

Xanzurth

I stand corrected. Must read more carefully missed the "you" part.
