Well...as awesome as {Hero of Bladehold} is, she's a bit awkward in an exalted deck since it's impossible for her to attack alone.

Agreed, but at the same time the hero could be the game winner if he needed an all out assault. Exalted and Battle Cry are 2 sides of the same coin. Go with one creature til you need them all in.

Although not a Human, {Aven Squire} is a cheap Exhalted flyer.

For Humans, {Riders of Gavony} is an ideal lord.

Wrong, {geist of saint traft} and {hero of bladehold} both get exalted bonuses. You only declare one attacker which is what exalted checks for. It doesnt matter if other creatures enter after that.

This has been confirmed in rules section. Exalted triggers after attackers have been declared. Since you only attack with bladehold, you get however many exalted bonuses THEN the soldiers come into play attacking with her.

Thanks! I was thinking about splashing some red, adding {Clifftop Retreat}, {Slayers Stronghold} and {Lightning Mauler}. what do you think?

I think NAYA Humans or any variation will be very strong post rotation. Whatever color you choose should do it, personally I like Aggro-mid with about 24 lands for use of bonfire in any deck using red. I've said this multiple times but it's honestly the best card in this format.
