I just completed the main quest in Skyrim. I feel cheated. I spent months on it and the ending is very anti-climatic.

Indeed it was.  I was seriously disappointed at how easy the final quest was.  Lame...

I honestly don't think I will ever complete that game. Ever. It took me 3 years to beat Oblivion, and I'm still playing Morrowind. But Skyrim... That game scares me. It brings out the worst part of my "Gotta Catch 'Em All" mentality. The idea of Add-ons makes no sense to me, that game is too frekin' huge! I have like a 240 hour save and I feel like I've done NOTHING! Why must everything be worth a minimum of 1 Gold...

Im a completist so im eventually going to complete all of the menial quests (done all the major quests) and get all the trophies, but just not anytime soon. Now I suppose ill pick back up where I left off with the snooze fest that is Final Fantasy XIII.

Took me 128 hours to get all base game achievements. That was all in a 3 week period or so. I burnt myself out on that game afterthat, so I really don't see me getting the dlc :-\. Even though I'm an achievement lover. And I honestly loved FFXIII and XIII-2. Once I realized it wasn't FFV, VII, or X.

Do you by any chance play on Xbox? I see that you're ALMOST as big of a Dead Space fan as I am ;D It would be cool to have someone to actually play the DS3 Co-op with once I finally get around to picking up the game. I'm still trying to beat Dead Space 2 on Hardcore and AC3 when I have time for games.

I want the DLCs soooo bad but at $20 a pop, it isn't likely ill be getting them. I put 85 hours into it in a span of three months, with a month long break in between. I just feel like there should be more to it when you beat Alduin.

I feel XIII wants to be X so bad and im just not feeling it. The gameplay to cutscene ratio is just too unbalanced for me. Im in chapter 8 right now and I've heard it gets way better, but we'll see.

For me, everything after X has been disappointing. I have the games their chances, and just couldn't get into them. I'm also pretty irritated about the HD version of X. I was one of those nerds who did EVERYTHING (all legendary weapons, defeated Nemesis, all Aeons). Now they're just remaking it, and probably going to dangle trophies for all that crap in front of us. It's evil, because I'm torn. I want the proof that I did all that (being the trophies) but dear god, I don't want to do all that again....

Mikefrompluto

I feel you on that. I didnt play XI for the same reason I don't play WoW or other pay monthly online games: if I spend $50 or $60 on a new game, you aren't getting a further $30 monthly out of me. I don't care how awesome it is. I sincerely tried to get into XII but it didnt happen.

Dudecore

I loved VI and VII. I didn't care for VIII, I was very disappointed because I was super hyped on that. IX wasn't my cup of tea, didn't like X. Surprisingly - I enjoyed XII.

I made the transition to American RPGs once I got ahold of Morrowind. Then it was Oblivion, Fallout 3, New Vegas and Skyrim. I am hooked on that style now.

ID, I'm a huge Dead Space fan!  Easily bumped its way to my favorite series!  And yeah, I'm on Xbox. I don't have Live at the moment, but if you want to shoot me a friend request at Silent1236, go for it and we can see about playing at some point!

In regards to Final Fantasy, I had to push X out of my
Mind to realize XIII was a blast. And Sazh is easily broken ;). Damn adamantoise :P.

I didn't even realize they were remaking FFX!  All I've got left on my PS2 is to finish out the monster arena and get the last piece for Lulu's celestial weapon. Dodging 200 {Lightning Bolt}s is a real pain 

You guys have already brought up basically all the games that I could talk forever about, and now you're bringing up Fallout, DC?  That's dangerous territory if you don't like seeing my posts lol

Mikefrompluto

VIII will always have a special place in my heart since it was the first FF I got into. I play through IX only once and recently purchased it on the PSN so I could play through it again.

What's everyone's opinion on FF Tactics? I personally loved it and feel it often gets overlooked. I really really liked the gameplay on it and I loved how they incorporated the DnD-esque class system.

I spent a solid week on that part alone. No lie. A week. I would spend hours a day trying to dodge those stupid bolts. It was quite a task.

I tried for a couple days, and I finally got to about 140. I got hit and just decided that Lulu sucked and she didn't need a weapon anyway :P. I'm glad my friend was the one who took the time to get the chocobo race part of Caladbolg. Getting a time of 0 was hard!

And I've never actually played tactics, I don't think :-\
