Well, I went to turn my fan on and it sparked and flipped the breaker. Landlord is getting a call for sure tomorrow.

I am so f'n bored right now sitting in my car for at least another two hours waiting for people to finish walking 12 miles. It's 7am right now and my day started at 4 when I woke up

Cholla: my wife doesn't mind me playing MTG. She does mind how much money I spend on cards, which is understandable. She is happy I am not out at the bar on Friday nights, and now I am teaching our oldest daughter too play. MTG is a part of our family now.

{cholla173}

That's awesome. My son actually got me into magic, tried to teach my wife how to play but she has no desire to learn how to play. So she just keeps busting my chops about it. I tell her the same thing, at least I am not out at the bar on Friday night

I have no idea what you're getting at but i doubt wotc was thinking about that at all and the shard probably stands completely seperate from the firstname.
I bet Alara is a name too.
And Ravnica is also a town in Poland. Undoubtedly also unknown to wotc.

Well most names have meanings. Seldom good ones.
I like the origin of my name however. Although all the different descriptions are just like horoscopes.

Birdbrain

Your right. I bet there have been women named Bena (meaning "wise") who weren't very wise. And I bet there have been women named Mary who wernt bitter

So last night at band practice, I found out one of my band members used to play Magic. Im trying to get him back into it so ill have someone to play outside of people at my LGS. He said he'll give it a shot if I try out D&D hahah.

What as a card not in a deck is better
{desecration demon} or {sylvan primordial}
I've desecration and am wondering if its worth the primordial.

{Desecration Demon} is 46 cents more than the primordial.

Also, it's useful in more formats than the primordial. I know that's starting to get into decks, but its still outside enough sense it's not in a specific format I think

Mikefrompluto

Instead of an unbanning, we got {sylvan primordial} as an apology for {primeval Titan} being banned in EDH.

Birdbrain

MaRo said they were going to do a cycle of cards like the one that copies itself and has trample. But all except the green one was useless. So we got the primordial instead
