Tell me about it!!! My wife and I are hosting her sister and her newborn twins at our apartment for a few days. Her husband and other child have the flu, and flu+newborns is no good.

Im thinking about getting into legacy or modern. With the close release of Gatecrash, it made me realize how expensive keeping up with standard is. I mean yeah, legacy and modern staples can be expensive, but they don't become useless (or lose value) every two years. Anyone else feeling the same?

I'm already going modern  

I'm actually trying to see if I can keep it cheap with the most expensive cards being {Liliana of the Veil}, {Cavern of Souls}, {Elspeth, Knight-Errant}, etc.  Nothing really over $30.  I know it won't be winning any Pro Tours or anything, but I'm sure I wouldn't want to enter anyway

So I guess I just need to figure out if I want to be competitive and play in tournaments or not. Legacy seems more fun because theres soooo many different decks you can play, but it seems like modern is being more catered to lately.
