I'm new too, but I'm not really competitive. I just have one deck to play with friends and maybe play a tournament in my usual shop and maybe be in the top 10. So I'm can't say a lot about the game, but here I am. I play GR with wolves.

I watched the Pro Tour RtR Finals, and Stanislav Cifka's Second Breakfast deck would be the most boring deck to play against.  16 minutes in and just now to turn 4 lol

  I used to think control was terrible to play against.  I've yet to actually play against a deck that made the game absolutely 0 fun to play though.  10 minute turns are ridiculous.

my friend tried making one but it was so complicated he gave up on trying to figure out how it was supposed to work

Speaking of combo, a year or so ago when I had been playing magic going on about three weeks, one of the staff at a camp handed me a legacy high tide deck that I had no clue how to play. I webt off succesfully on turn 3 without even having the deck explained to me. The staff member I played against had a  {Force of Will} in hand. I guess I am just a prodigious combo player ; )
