My wife and I just got tickets for the 12 AM showing of The Hobbit in 3D. Anyone else going to see it tonight? Work is going to suck tomorrow but it'll be so worth it.
Holy crap didnt not reliaze that it came out so soon. I must go next weekend when I have some money before I spend it all again.

Thorn

I'm totally going to see it! have fun and let us know how it was!

Mikefrompluto

See it in 3D if you have the option! So worth te extra few $$$. As far as the movie itself goes, it was great. Although i dont see how he's going to squeeze three movies out of a roughly 300 page book.

Hey diddly ho everybody! Not exactly new but I think introductions are good. Posted very little but I do lurk a lot.

Hi my name is Emily and I've been addicted to Magic for five months now.

Silent1236

Hi, my name is Silent1236 and I don't understand {Dark Confidant}.

Why is losing life with each draw a good thing?

Missingkirby34

Hi my names Missingkirby34, I don't understand {Animate Dead}, is it attached to a card in the exile, the battlefield or the graveyard, the might as well say attach to target card in opponents library, or heck why not just "attach to target card opponent owns but is not using this game" end rant....

Because it's an *additional* draw that you get during your upkeep, you still draw a card during your draw step as well. It is card advantage in black, and in aggressive modern decks, your mana costs are low (so life loss is minimal) and the impact of those extra cards is very easily enough to sway the game in your favor.

You attach it to a creature card in your graveyard. Then that card stops being just a card and becomes an actual creature, so it detaches from the now non-existent "card in a graveyard" and reattaches to the now creature-on-the-battlefield.  They really worded it silly in order to make the rules legitimately work with it, but in short all it does is "reanimate target creature in your graveyard. Attach this aura to it. It gets -1/-0. If animate dead stops being attached to that creature, sacrifice it."

Hi, my name is Mikefrompluto, and Im obsessed with Morrissey. Does anyone else share this obsession?

Silent1236

I've heard of Morrissey, but I don't know who/what it is :P

Mikefrompluto

He was the singer of the Smiths in the 80's until they broke up, and he went on to have a more successful solo career and make even better music. I've seen him ten times in the past nine years and its incredible every time.

My name is Kellen and I'm obsessed with boobs, most likely because I'm a hormone operated 16 year old.
