If you are doing the CC route and know what collage you want to xfer to you can always talk to that collage and see what they accept. Talk to the councilers at the school you are planning on going to after its free to get info(unless you count your time).

It's the 21st if he's referring to the Mayan calendar. They wrote their calendar in seasons, and in a circle. They ran out of room on the circle when the calendar reached the winter season of this year. The Winter Solstice (the official first day of the season of winter) is on the 21st.
