When a token creature dies, would it trigger "when a creature is put into your graveyard" effects such as Sigil of the new dawn?

{sigil of the new dawn}

Once a token leaves the battlefield, it ceases to exist, and even more, tokens can not be a part of your hand :)

Man, when you been on this forum for more than a few months you see the same exact questions reposted. 😓

Actually, the token "hits" the graveyard then ceases to exist. So it would trigger but couldn't go back to the hand.

I believe this is resolved 🔨!!
If not let me know!

{sigil of the new dawn}.

to be precise tokens do indeed go to the grave, hand, library, and exile. therefore when something goes from the battlefield to somewhere triggers do activate. however tokens are not cards therefore return effects are useless. also as soon as statebased actions are checked the token will cease to exist.

Too be honest, I knew this question's answer, but am new here, and wanted to see the response time and friendliness of the community. Now I know. Very fast. Thank you.

Tokens do go to the graveyard (aka they die).  They'll trigger Morbid, and {Grave Pact}.

The absolute fraction of a second they hit their destination, they cease to exist.  But they got there.

Resolved.  *gavel*

Edit:  Dangit!  Scooped again!  I gotta type faster!   ;D

Eh, at least it was a creative question with a specific card in mind.  I'd rather have the same question asked and answered correctly so there are that many more people enlightened by the game rules, increasing the enjoyment factor overall.

Umm, for one, a quick search will bring up previous posts on certain subjects.  Two, laziness is not an excuse. I understand being new can be overwhelming. But the magnifying glass that indicates a search function, on billions of websites, in the top right corner should be the first thing to check. Not specifically directed to this post. But 💩 if you have a question, search to see if it was answered already, and if the question was, but not directly explaining a certain card interaction you're curious about. Necro that post instead of making a new one.
