Slivers?

So I have a question: how competitive are Sliver decks in their relevant formats? At first I didn't think they'd be much so, but after listening to some folks at a card shop, it got me curious

Not sure from a competitive standpoint but I seen em get out of hand in casual games.  I personally don't like the tribe and have more interest in making say....an Atog deck before a sliver deck....and that is not saying much since I have about zero interest in making an Atog deck lol.

In legacy they aren't a problem,
affinity, merfolk and rogue are just more predictable and fast.

Lol!  Sure!  They'll go in there too!  I didn't even know about those cards.  Decks getting better and better!

Rogue is a catch-all for different decks that win trying to predict the meta. They run from equipment decks (Cawblade) to {Progenitus}.

It's like "going rogue", doing something outside the ordinary and being sneaky. It's not really right to say they're all better then Slivers, but generally a rogue deck plays great.

Wasn't sure if you were talking about a Rogue creature-type deck I've never heard of.  So, is there a difference between Rogue and Homebrew?

Rogue decks differ from home brew in that they're tournament level decks, homebrew generally isn't.

There might be a rogue tribal deck, Could be cool.

I know you could make one from Lorwyn/Shadowmoor, but I don't think there's anything competitive.
