Mono black deck for standard I want to make when 2013 drops any suggestions?

{Go for the Throat} over {Murder}? At least until Scars rotates, GFtT is way better costwise, 2 mana over 3 is why {Mana Leak} is completely boss when compared to {Cancel}.

17 black sources is not enough with that many black mana symbols in your build. Either add land, sphere of suns, or colorless dudes like solemn simulacrum

{Go for the Throat} over {Murder}? At least until Scars rotates, GFtT is way better costwise, 2 mana over 3 is why {Mana Leak} is completely boss when compared to {Cancel}.

Ya true. I guess doomblades would work for a while as well

I run {Doom Blade} in the sideboard in case Artifacts give me any trouble ({Inkmoth Nexus} anyone?)
But if GFtT is too hard to find, {Doom Blade} most definitely works, it's still a super solid card.

Honestly don't see the point in Lilliana in this deck. You have no ramp required spells or creatures, just a couple of 6 drops. Could see if you traded out a couple creatures for Liliana's shade.

Ya I got to thinking I should take her out cause like you guys said the only thing she would be worth having in for is Diabolic revelation which with all the multiples I'm sure I wouldn't need it

Better, I'd drop a {Murder} and add a Swamp though, 22 is my safe zone #.

EDIT: Especially if you realistically want to cast Nefarox, 21 won't get there all the time.
