Isn't there an infinite combo involving {Myr Galvanizer}?

Indeed. You need two galvanizers and a palladium or two of any flavor myrs. You tap the palladium, use one mana to use the galvanizers ability and one for your pool. Rinse and repeat. Same thing with the favors except you tap both and use one for galvanizer, one for pool.
