In what situation would overload for this actually be useful? Whenver someone casts a spell, they wait to see if you let it resolve. Rarely do people cast spells in response to other spells they have played.

Can someone enlighted me on why there is overload for this? Just to give you more options, or will overload be useful in many situations and I am not seeing it?
I agree I too need to be enlightened O.o

Every card has a weakness, her weakness is printed all over her. 1) Cost. 2) Return those creatures to hand. 3) When can you cast her to benefit from its effects? 4) How many do you include in a deck? 5) body doesn't match CMC.

"Good in EDH" doesn't cut it. I'm guilty of it saying it too, there hasn't been a card printed that someone wont say is "good" in EDH.

Lol on reason 2. Journey to Nowhere is an amazing card and she is triple that and she rturns them ro hand instead of battlefield.

So, it turns out we were sorta right about {Last Word} in the first place:

I still don't get the {R} side of it, but then I never got the {U} side of the uncounterable DoJ. 😏

Still, better or worse than {Swift Silence}?

When a counterspell is both {U}and {R} it may counter multiple spells. See: {Double Negative}. Countering multiple apells is a UR thing ro do. Countering multiple spells is very impulsive.

Detention Sphere 1BW
Enchantment
When Detention Sphere enters the battlefield, exile target (either nonland permanent or creature i forgot) and all others permanents/creatures with the same name as it.

Supreme Verdict 1WW[bold]U[/bold]
Sorcery (i think)
Destroy all creatures.
Supreme Verdict can't be countered by spells of abilities.

Azorious has some serious token hate, so im stacking up on {Naturalize} for my sideboard. Anyone else have any sideboarding suggestions for Selsenya against Azorious?

How will {Naturalize} save your tokens? Damage is already done once it hits the board.

Destroys the enchantment, bringing back the tokens

Nope, tokens don't exist outside of the battlefield. Once they leave, they're gone forever.

Could you destroy when its cast, before it enters the battlefield using the {Naturalize} as a counter of sorts?

You couldn't destroy it before it enters the battlefield because it isn't an enchantment permanent yet; it's just a spell. But you could respond to the enter-the-battleifled trigger by destroying it when it enters.

Though I don't think that would help. In fact it would exile your stuf permanently, I think. :x

Maximo

No. Naturalize does not say "counter target enchantment spell". You could hit it as soon as it enters the battlefield, but by then the ability is already on the stack and you're losing the tokens anyway.

Here is how that works:

The enchantment enters the BF and the trigger to remove "x" permanent is put on the stack.
You then respond by {naturalize}ing the enchantment.
You naturalize resolves and destroys the enchantment.
The trigger from the enchantment resolves and exiles the permanent ..... the enchantments is gone so the permanent returns ...... unless they are tokens at which point they are gone forever.
