Sounds like they banned {griselbrand} in commander.  That makes me a sad panda.  {Sundering Titan} too, I'm fine with (boo land hate)

I am actually really upset with this.. I don't see him as broken (then again I haven't used or played against him) I see him as a high cost big flying thing with a pretty cool ability

What seems silly to me is that with the helvault opening event, oversized commander cards were inside for Avacyn, Griselbrand, and the "powerpuff" angels, pretty much announcing to everyone "HEY! Use the 5 for commander!" And they ban one already (take a wild guess which one of the 5 I picked from the vault...sigh)

I quit playing magic when mirrodin came out and came back to magic when scars was in standard, what a coincidence eh? I absolutely hated how they made artifacts the main thing in mirrodin. I am excited for RTR, because all of the great thing I heard about ravnica

It's not just those decks, there's Naya pod, zombie pod, different zombie builds, Solarflare, UW midrange, UW control, and RG aggro in the meta as well

Mirrodin was always about the artifacts. Look at the first mirrodin. It's an artifact block.

I was hoping the ban list would freshen up the meta a little bit. Oh well. I guess that isn't the role of the ban list
