Yeah I did get an Avacyn, and sent it to him already. Sorry! I'm staying off iMtG for a while now and might quit magic altogether, so cya guys around. All cards sent.

Why quit?   Magic is an entertaining hobby that gives you something fun to do when you're bored.  You don't have to build the expensive net decks or anything.  I actually found it is more fun to play with some friends and all build s---ty pauper decks, etc and see who has the least s---ty deck!  And don't quit because cards you mailed out got sent back or you forgot to mail them out or something.  That kind of stuff happens.  I'm 17 and have a car, insurance, gas, a new phone, and probably the phones data plan (stupid smart phones), and I have had to stop spending money on MtG or video games or whatever.  Oh, and I've only got one paycheck saved up (priorities suck ).  Don't let crappy experiences get you down!  Magic is a great little hobby.  It's tons of fun, and if you get together with a playgroup, it can provide a hell of a lot of comic relief if people start slipping up and playing things wrong.  Either way, good luck!

If its an addiction an you spend all your time on the forum like I used to magic becomes an addiction and can really hurt you. Google stuff about it because people have ruined their lives. And also Moonman is very trusted cause I get my cards from him today and he sent back my cards too

Anything can become an addiction.  You just have to know when to stop.  Not saying that is easy to do though.

Thanks for the response guys. I think I might quit MtG because I'm 13 and don't have much money, and what I do I want to save. With M13 coming out, I don't know if I'll be able to contain myself XD. Second, the only people that I play against are a way higher skill level than me and have a lot of money to spend on cards so I always lose, so it isn't much fun either. Nothing's certain yet but I know that my parents aren't exactly thrilled with my playing either.

My advice, try budget decks, last FNM I was at, a 25 dollar deck came in 2nd! Just try them on cockatrice! Goblins is a great one. Don't necessarily just jump straight yk quitting. That's just me though.

My artifact legacy deck cost maybe 75$ without the {Tolarian Academy} and it does very well.

It's not about having a lot of money cards, it's about how you play the cards you have.
