This is terrible but really fun to play with. The curve is so high but it could be pretty good if you added some more spells. So any tips?

i would diych the obviously meh creatures for ramp spells so your high curve dorsn't brcome problematic.

I know but right now this is for fun. If someone could give me an improved decklist I would be happy.

Somberwald sage, birthing pod, {burn at the stake} would be awesome

I learned that ramp is vital with a pod build.  One reason is in-case you pod doesn't show up and so you can use the pod that much faster.

Turn 1 play a forest and a birds of paradise, llanowar elves, or an avacyns pilgrim

Turn 2 part 1 play another forest

So now you have 2 forest and one of the creatures above ready to be tapped

Turn 2 part 2 pay 2 life and play birthing pod
