Yeah. When people says Boros they mean White/Red, I guess it's shorthand.

Some uses mana symbols to spell stuff. RUG (Red Blue Green) and BUG (Black Blue Green).

Zoo is a cheap aggro deck that contains weenies who self buffs ({Tarmogoyf}, {Kird ape}, {wild nacati}). Usually Naya to complicate things. I guess ya get it

Bant is one of the 5 shards of Alara, which contains only White, Green, and Blue mana. {Bant Panorama}, {Bant Sureblade} etc are all things that came from that shard. Now, that color combination, like all the shards of Alara, will always be remembered by the name of the Alara shard.
