So what happens if someone O-rings or {feind hunter}s my commander?
and...
Can I {mind control} my opponents commander?

Gorzo

^ This. When the commander is exiled, it's your choice if you want to keep him in exile (say if you had an {austere command} in hand to nuke that O-Ring that took your commander away) or return him to the command zone as if he'd died, along with the +2 casting cost.

And mind control, yeah, you can take a commander alright. Just be ready for your friend's full wrath for doing so, because you are now his #1 rage target :P

GoJuDragon

If u mind controll ur opponents commander and then deal damage to ur opponent with it, does that damage count as commander damage?

scarsabrex

yes. just remember commander damage is counted per commander. so if you have your commander do 14 damage and a mind controlled one do 7 that wont commander kill the opponent.

GoJuDragon

Ok, thx. Oh and would doing damage like with {heartless hidetsugu}s ability count as comander damage?

scarsabrex

no no it does not... bj commander damage is combat only

BlackJester

Sorry, I was wrong. It's strictly combat damage.

GoJuDragon

scarsabrex

lol otherwise it would narrow down what was a competitive commander playing to very few.

Thorn

So let me get this straight. Commanders deal double combat damage but if you {mind control} one it deals normal damage.
And can you {nevermore} your opponents commander (evil smile)

Commanders don't deal double combat damage, but of a single commander deals 21 damage to someone, they lose.

Thorn

Oh yeah I forgot that. Well can I {nevermore} their commander?

Greg54js

Yes you can nevermore their commander. They can't cast it until nevermore goes away
