Went to FNM last night (today is now Saturday here) and we played commander.

I gave my Olivia deck to my housemate and I played my omnath.
There were only 8 of us so we played two games of 4 we were in one each.

Both games we got ganged up on by the pre-constructed decks. I had no chance, having to block lethal damage with my mana producers sucked and I died pretty easily.. More changes to be made...

Olivia on the other hand actually did quite well and held her own, but he also died first.

We played a fourth with the left overs after some went home. Another 4 player.
I used my grimgrin this time and we almost played it as us vs them. Again the pre-cons tore us appart. We were doing really well with some awesome battlefield advantage, huge creatures buffing up, etc, then one of the pre-cons played a card that pinched all our creatures and he hit us with lethal with our own creatures. :/ sigh
If it was a proper multiplayer we would have actually done better.. Stupid alliances and whatnot.

My last win was kinda funny I strapped two livewire lash to phyrexian crusader, and after swinging for six main phase 2 I hit it with my own virulent wound to splash the last 4 for a 1 turn kill lol

Did alright, 2-3 in my first FNM in sometime. Without much play testing.

I was using RUG soulbond in my playgroup Tuesday, then I was playing too slowly so I went RG with mixed results tonight.

I still don't think I miss Standard too much, lots of good decks that my home brew has no real chance of beating.
