I was playing my friends mill deck and he used an {undead alchemist} followed by a {traumatize} followed by a {mind funeral}

Quackmaster5

I pulled this on my friend. Alchemist, traumatize, then a {sewer nemesis}. 😝

Coffee Vampire

MIIIIIIIIIIIIIND FUUUUUNERAAAAAAAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quackmaster5

Is there a card that gets rid of lands in someone's deck? Bc that would be a sick combo with mind funeral.

The text changing card + memoricide against a mono deck

BlackJester

{Traumatize} + {Haunting Echoes}!  👿*EVIL*
Although abysmal in EDH. XD

{Lifespark Spellbomb} + {Eradicate}

Works great on mono colored decks

That's just wrong.. If this was pulled against my mono green elfdrazi I'd punch the SOB

Bilygote

LOL! This gets done to me at least once a week. The bad (good) thing is that if you've got more than one land out, it doesn't effect the other land already in play

BlackJester

Really, if you already have enough land in play, they are doing you a favor by keeping you from dead draws.

But you can never have enough land in an eldrazi deck tho..

Bilygote

You also can shield yourself against this by having some non basic land that produce the mana that you need

Johng4490

Is there anyway to redirect mana severance? It doesn't say it's targeting you, but could you {outwit} it?

Nope. No Targetting, so you can't make it target someone else. Best you could do is {Hive Mind}, but they could choose not to pull out any land.
