Ajani vs nicol bolas

I just bought {Ajani Vengent} vs {Nicol Bolas Planeswalker}  and i have played 6 games with it. The ajani deck wins every time. It is not that much better but i cant figure out wht i am doing wrong with nicol. If anyone can give me some strategy tips on using these decks that would be great. Especially  the nicol deck. Ty

Sorry Queezle.  I bought the set, but immediately took it apart.  I never did play the two decks against each other.

They're in my trade binder right now.  I wanted the alternate are Planeswalkers.  (Plus I'm a sucker for reprint sets.)

Doesn't the set come with an insert describing how to play each deck?  Have you read it?

Yeah but it is mainly like "your awesome cards will give you sure victory if you think like an elder dragon" so not a ton of help.
In 7 games the ajani has one 6 times and nicol only once....

I also like the reprint decks.  I bought two copies of this set and built two really awesome decks by removing the useless stuff and adding better cards.  I can get {Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker} out on turn 4 if everything goes well.  The {Alani Vengant} is a life gaining deck that works great too...just need some {Serra Ascendant}s to put the finishing touch.   I will post the lists this weekend.

Cool. I was thinking of making a commander deck by combining both of them just to see if i could. Even though it wouldnt be legal.
