If you sacrifice an undying creature, does undying trigger, or no?

Did it die? Yep.
Did it have a +1/+1 counter? If no, it'll come back regardless of why it died. 💀

Edit:  Give your friends a good ole 👊 in da face for cheating.   Ok maybe not a punch in the face but I'd call em a bunch of ðŸīs tho.

Funy story I got my oppent down to 6 life. He played a Tamiyo to pin down my messenger so I couldnt attack anymore. Next turn I played another messenger he took 2 then I played {bone splinters} sac one messenger than destroyed the other. They both come back tap and deal 2 each to him. It was pretty awesome.
