Apple isn't responsible to keep their software compatible for every app when they do an update.  That falls on the app developers.  This is a great app, but if it doesn't work, it's useless.

Looks like Piotr just regressed into being a child.
You're the developer and you took our money with the understanding that your app would work. Since the update it has not worked at all and I'm pissed that I can't use it. I'm livid that the App Store even lets you have the "educational" version of this app up for $250+ when the base one doesn't work. I paid to "have it all", you owe it to us.

Piotr

Get your money back from Apple. LOL.

Piotr

I pay Apple 30% so they can shield me from total tree frogs. Entering into business agreements with people unable to comprehend the agreement they enetered into is about as sensible as doing business with tree frogs from Amazon river.

I will mark these with negative karma as a warning for good people in Trade.

Feiticeira

Myself and probably many others would really like to start paying you again.

Please update. Please?  ...  Man, I got these cheeseburgers! Man!

More info for whenever you get to this: It's not just search.  It appears to be anything with a pop up menu crashes it.

Prplprince

Unfortunately it's been happening to me for a while as well. Anything that searches the database crashes the app

Piotr

Anything that opens a window crashes the app. Funny how by the looks of it, even crippled by Apple, iMtG is still one of the best apps at what it does. Yes, you are paying for what you get, buddy ;]

Take it or leave it is our current agreement.

The update will come in due time, it works on my test devices but I need to finish several things before it is ready for App Store release.

Great to hear you are in a testing phase with the update! Can't wait to see it released!

Look man most people only get upset over the things that they care about. Obviously this is the best MTG app out there so when Apple's update screwed us people were upset. The best way to mitigate that as a developer is to be open with the people who purchased it. For awhile no one seemed to know what was happening or if you were ever going to update it again. That sucks when you find out that not only does this awesome tool not work but you just paid money for a subscription service you can't use. Then when you did reply to the understandably angry customers you were pretty rude to them, granted some of their comments were rude too. I get that Apple screwed it up, and as a developer that has got to be insanely frustrating. It is a crappy situation for all of us but a little understanding up front from you would've gone a long way with your customers. It might also have given them a better understanding of your situation and created empathy instead of anger.

At any rate I'm just excited about the possibility of getting this app back online!!

Everything happened exactly as I predicted, my friend.

A feature that can export a deck to a DCI decklist, ready to print for tournaments.

Both of these ideas are on my TODO because I had them myself or they were reported through proper channels, not in Help threads by self important person who is not welcome here until they comprehend and apply knowledge from https://www.manager-tools.com/2006/10/do-you-need-to-apologize please and thank you.

Hi Piotr. Do you still plan to release in March 2018 the update that will fix iMtG?

I never had such plans, I steer clear from giving away unrealistic promises to anybody. You watch too much fake news by the looks of it, is spoiled your judgement. It really is.

Kesin

Any news on this issue?  Making decks and updating my collection used to be such a breeze in here but this conflict with iOS makes it extremely frustrating.  Looking forward to some good news.
